Welcome!

Hey! I'm Ella, an 18-year-old self-taught artist based in Tempe, Arizona. I created this site as a portfolio of sorts to display some of my paintings & photography.

Art is very dear to me - it's one of the many ways that we, as humans, get to employ our creative power. It's also great for stress relief! I love getting lost in a painting because it's a great excuse to slow down and focus all my energy into one project.

I was officially introduced to photography my sophomore year of high school, and have since realized the magic of observing life 'through the lens.' I really love capturing natural beauty, from the daintiest flower bud to the massive cloud formations that occupy the sky.

My paintings, on the other hand, mostly feature my favorite characters from pop culture. As a self-proclaimed geek (ranging from Star Wars to Marvel to Harry Potter to 80s movies etc. etc.), I love recreating some of the movie and book characters I grew up with. If you share my love for sci-fi, superheroes, or cult classics, feel free to email me with recommendations.

As of right now, I don't have a formal shop, but I am happy to discuss potential commissions if you are interested!
